16. Collecting Rating Variables                                          

We will spend twenty-five minutes walking the agent through the process of entering the risk information into the Jenesis Quote Control Feature. Time will be spent on several rating variables that impact auto rates including the following:

1. Driving Experience
2. Points
3. Credit History
4. Home Ownership
5. Loss Payee Type
6. Lapse in Coverage

17. Using Rating Software to Shop Risk                             

We will spend twenty-five minutes showing examples of how to use Jenesis to rate ceded liability as well as demonstrate how to use other rates that are integrated with Jenesis. We will cover how to:

1. Enter Violations Correctly
2. Select the correct vehicle and symbol
3. Print the application
4. Import the data from the rater into Jenesis.
17. Discussing Quote with Consumer                                 

In this section we will spend twenty-five minutes to educate the agent on how to best explain the rate and coverage to the consumer. This will cover:

1. BI Liability
2. PD Liability
3. Medical Payments
4. Uninsured/Underinsured
5. Comp
6. Collision
7. Towing
8. Rental
18. Storing & Retrieving Quote Information            

We will spend twenty-five minutes with the agent walking them through the process of storing a quote in the Jenesis Quote Control as well as how to retrieve. This section will take a look at things like verifying quote information after the consumer has come in the office to purchase.

20. Completing the Application                                          

We will again walk the agent through the process of converting the quote from Quote Control into an application to print from Jenesis. Twenty-Five minutes will be spent here to go over each variable required on the automobile application.

21. Getting Everything Signed                                            

Finally, we will take the agent step-by-step through:

1. Printing the application.
2. Printing Supporting documentation including NC DIO consent forms.
3. Property Receipting the New Business.
4. Getting everything signed.
5. Explaining everything that is being signed to the insured.

This course will use the Jenesis Software as the only course material.

American Bankers

1. Coverage                                            

We will cover in detail the Coverages section of the American Bankers policy.

2. Quoting                                               

Here we will walk the agent through the process of rating the American Bankers policy in Jenesis.

3. Application                                          

Here we will walk the agent through the process of completing the application from Jenesis.

4. Endorsing                                            

Here we will show the agent how to add, delete or change a vehicle on the policy from Jenesis.

This section will also cover rating the change.

5. Claims                                                 

This section will show the agent how to complete the claim form in Jenesis as well as how to print the form and submit to the company. Here we will also spend a good deal of time understanding supporting documentation regarding these claims such as policy and repair shop reports.

This course will train agents who use the Jenesis Software how to perform the above tasks using Jenesis.

9. Receipting                                           

Receipt in the agency is where the money flow begins. We will cover many receipt types:

6. Premium Finance Installments and Late Installments
7. Premium Finance Down Payments on Additional Premiums
8. Bad Debt

10. Daily Balancing                        

This will demonstrate to the agent how to balance their daily receipts in Jenesis and what to do when they are out of balance.

11. Remittance Reports                             

In this section we will print a days worth of company remittance reports from Jenesis and actually show how to reconcile and submit to the respective companies.

12. Premium Finance Companies               

This section is similar to the above section but pertains only to business financed with a premium finance company. We will show examples of reports and how to process them to get the premium finance company their money, contracts and reports and how to get the insurance company their money and necessary supporting documentation.

This course will use the Jenesis Software as the only course material.
