Recommended Operating, Hardware and Scan/Imaging Requirements

Below are recommended system requirements for the Jenesis Agency Management System. 

Please Note That These are Recommended Requirements and do Exceed Minimums Required for Program to Run.  Please call if you have Specific Equipment Questions.

Ø      Operating System Recommendations

o         Windows XP (Professional or Higher)

o         Windows ME  Not Supported or recommended

o         Windows 98 - Not Supported. (Windows 98 & Windows 98 Second Edition are different.)

o         Windows 95 - Not Supported.

o         Windows 2000 - Must have latest Service Pack for Windows 2000.

o         Windows 98 Second Edition - Current version ok.

o         Windows NT 4.0 - Must have installed Service Pack 6

Ø      Hardware

o         Individual Workstation Requirements

§         Processor - 2.0 Ghz CPU or higher

§         RAM - 256 MB or higher 

§         Hard Drive – 160 GIG or higher

§         CD-ROM - 24x or faster

§         Sound - sound card & speakers (for training videos)

§         Video Cards & Monitor  - Requires 1024 X 768 screen resolution

§         Network Cards – 10/100

 

o         Server and Scanner Requirements

§         Server - Not required to network multiple PCs.  If an agency has over three workstations and has multiple programs that would be shared by each workstation on a daily basis, we recommend a Server be purchased.   If an agency has three or less workstations, the agent may dedicate one of the workstations to act as a server.  This option works well if an agency uses their system for agency management and/or rating purposes only.

**Important Note:  If agency is committed to using the Imaging feature in Jenesis, a server is recommended.

§         Scan/Image – If document imaging is to be implemented, we recommend a full page scanner to be used.    We recommend a Visioneer Strobe XP 450 PDF scanner.
